Endorsed by the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA), the guide aims to provide all the information you require to develop and implement a strategy to improve the energy efficiency of your housing stock. |
| Homes Energy Efficiency Database (HEED) HEED is a national database that tracks the sustainable energy characteristics of the UK housing stock. It contains information on over 10,000 homes (42% of the UK housing stock). It is also the central register for Energy Performance Certificates in Scotland. |
| This guide, developed by the Energy Saving Trust's Housing programme, outlines an integrated package of measures that will enable builders, developers and householders to hit the UK Government's demanding target to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 80%. | Guidance on meeting the energy efficiency requirements of the Scottish Housing Quality Standard All Scottish social housing must meet key energy efficiency criteria by 2015 under the Scottish Housing Quality Standard. | Private sector landlords booklet The private rented sector tends to have the lowest levels of energy efficiency across all housing. In light of this, the Energy Saving Trust has produced a leaflet that you can distribute to private landlords on your register to inform them about support available to them. | T-ZERO is a free web-based tool that identifies the optimal insulation, heating and renewable options for any given house, based on your budget and refurbishment goals. The T-ZERO marketplace is also a useful source of information about suppliers and installers of the recommended measures. |
