Energy Saving Trust recommendations for planning policies
The Energy Saving Trust works with planning authorities across the UK. Based on our experience of working with planning professionals, we have developed a set of recommended good practice planning policies to be included in Core Strategies and other Development Plan Documents (DPDs). This document gives an overview of the Energy Saving Trust's recommendations.
Energy Saving Trust planning recommendations: Case studies
To accompany the Energy Saving Trust's recommendations for planning policies, this living case study document provides up to date examples of where each of our recommendations have been replicated in Core Strategies and other DPDs. These examples, from local authorities in England, include existing and proposed policies and will be regularly reviewed to reflect the changing status of DPDs.
