Recycle Week 2010

This year's Recycle Week, running from 21 - 27. June 2010, is the perfect opportunity to clear out your cupboard, the shed or attic and give any old, broken or unwanted small electricals the chance to be useful again.

Many electrical items such as mobile phones, computers and PDA's contain valuable plastics and metals which can be reused in new products.

Using recycled materials to produce new goods uses much less energy than that required for producing new products from raw materials – even when comparing all associated costs including transport etc. Plus there are extra energy savings because more energy is required to extract, refine, transport and process raw materials ready for industry compared with providing industry-ready materials.

During Recycle Week you'll find all you need to know on the RecycleNow site, including the Event Finder so you can see what's happening in your local area, a suite of animations and lots of fun activities!

So, why not set your electricals free and visit the RecycleNow site?
