The search is over to find Britain's Green Voice 2009
The votes have been counted and the winner of this years Green Voice of the UK 2009 is Piper Terrett from Essex.

The Energy Saving Trust wanted to find someone who could speak up for the 'man on the street' on green issues - become UK's voice on 'being green'. The people duly voted and at a summer event held at Portcullis House, Westminster with Energy and Climate Change Minister, Joan Ruddock Piper was announced the UK's 'Green Voice' for 2009. Pipers first task was to grill Energy and Climate Change Minister, Joan Ruddock with questions from the UK public.
